PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay which reduces an influence of operating characteristics of the relay due to welding unevenness and improves connecting reliability. SOLUTION: An armature block X3 of this electromagnetic relay includes an armature 20, an insulator 21 in which center of the armature 20 is inserted and arms 21a are projected in both side directions of the armature 20, contact springs 22 inserted into the arms 21a of the insulator 21 and projected forward from the surfaces of the respective arms 21a directed toward the center side of the armature 20, and a substantially U-shaped hinge spring 100 extending from the rear end of each spring 22 and projected backward from the surface of the arm 21a at an opposite side to the protruding surface of the spring 22. The spring 100 has bent and erected pieces 100d each formed by bending and erecting a part of the spring from the position of the side for deflecting the spring 100 from the welded part (y) of the side piece 100c welded to a body to the tip side of the side piece 100c.
