A cash remittance system using a phone number and asking the approval after the remittance, and a method thereof are provided to save the amount of remittance at a virtual account automatically when receiving a request for remittance and a phone number of a receiver and to authenticate the qualification of a receiver based on the requested phone number. An interface unit(31) interfaces with a sender or a receiver, and a user authentication unit(32) authenticates the receiver by using a name and a phone number of the receiver. A remittance processing unit(33) saves the amount of remittance at a virtual account when receiving a request for the remittance information including the name, the amount of the remittance and the phone number. An account management unit(34) opens a virtual account of the receiver automatically, and a settlement processing unit(35) process the settlement for the amount of remittance. An alarming unit(36) informs the receiver of the remittance through the phone number, and a withdrawal processing unit(37) transfers the money from the virtual account to an real account of a bank when receiving an approval for withdrawal from the receiver. |
