PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a writing head producing a high resolution image while solving the problem of current crosstalk in which a writing electrode is abutted stably against an image carrier. SOLUTION: The writing head 3 for forming a latent image on an image carrier 2 comprises a filmlike substrate 3a, a plurality of writing electrodes 3b and 3b' arranged on one side of the filmlike substrate 3a in the axial direction of the image carrier, and wiring parts 9 and 9' routing for the writing electrodes 3b and 3b' formed on the opposite sides of the filmlike substrate.
