PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment which can clearly discriminate between the inner and outer walls of a blood vessel by relatively simple treatment. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic equipment makes a catheter 2 inserted into the blood vessel 1 of a subject, and displays an intravascular tomogram of the subject on an image display part by image-processing a reception signal which is obtained by turning the wave sending direction of an ultrasonic wave sent to the wall of the blood vessel 1 from a sensor 3 provided at the tip of the catheter 2 so as to obtain the reception signal by sending the ultrasonic wave and receiving a reflected wave thereof. The ultrasonic diagnostic equipment is equipped with region identifying means 34 and 35 for identifying a region with the same movements in the radial direction of the blood vessel 1 between adjacent frames of the intravascular tomogram displayed on the display part 20; and the display part 20 discriminatively displays the region, which is identified by the means 34 and 35, on the intravascular tomogram.
