PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a rotary magnetic head by which two magnetic heads can be attached directly to a rotary cylinder in a state of matching there gap heights, and the need for a base, fixing screws and a height adjusting screw can be eliminated, and to provide a rotary magnetic head manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: Two same core bars 30 connected in the direction along parts (junction parts 32) in which a plurality of parts (parts position A, B, C, D) becoming a head core are gap are made. These two core bars 30 are arranged in the direction of upward and downward respectively, a direction of the junction part 32 is tilted for the vertical direction to a cutting line L, a line Q connecting an end point P and an end point P' of the both junction parts 32 is made parallel with the cutting line L. Two kinds of Head cores in which directions of gaps are opposite each other and height from a cutting surface to the gap are same are made by cutting simultaneously these two core bars 30 by the cutting line L. Two kinds of magnetic heads made from these head core are stuck to a rotation cylinder. Thereby, a height adjusting screw or the like are not required. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
