PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus calculating an exercise volume which can calculate the exercise volume in a practically sufficient precision with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The apparatus inputs a conscious motion intensity of a motion intensity realized by a user from an external input circuit 112. An arithmetic circuit 106 calculates the user exercise volume based on parameters such as an age, a sexuality, a body weight, a physical strength level and the like stored in a memory 102 and the conscious motion intensity. When the trend of the motion state satisfies predetermined conditions, the user physical strength level is corrected, and the exercise volume is calculated by using the corrected physical strength level.
