PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water sealing sheet for a water-surface landfill disposal site capable of perfectly venting air enclosed in a housing body and filling the housing body with a filler without generating gaps to bring the housing body into a wrinkle-free state, and an air venting method therefor.

SOLUTION: The water sealing sheet 1, which is made of an elastomer having water sealing properties, for the water-surface landfill disposal site is laid in a bulkhead constructed on the surface of the water. This water sealing sheet 1 is equipped with the housing body 6 for enclosing air or the filler and an air vent means 7 arranged in the housing body 6 to vent air enclosed in the housing body 6.
