PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit for a DC/DC converter which can improve the ON duty properties of a switching element on a main side. SOLUTION: A differential amplifying circuit 11 outputs an error signal S1 obtained by comparing an output voltage Vo with a reference voltage Vr, and a PWM comparison circuit 12 outputs a pulse signal S3 generated by modulating the pulse width based on the error signal S1 and a triangular wave signal S2. A pause period setting circuit 34 generates a first control signal S14 which has the same pulse width as that of the pulse signal S3 by delaying the pulse signal S3, and based on the first control signal S14.
