PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain a lamp pin by a designed retention force by preventing deformation in the movable spring piece of a contact fixture, or the like. SOLUTION: A lamp socket comprises a plurality of contact fixtures 10, and a housing for accommodating them. The contact fixtures 10 are formed in shapes for integrating a fixed piece 100; a spring support section 101 that is curved in a U shape from one end 100a in the fixed piece 100; a protection frame 103 connected to the curved tip of the spring support section 101; and a movable spring 104 that is cut and raised from the inside of the protection frame 103, has a recessed lamp pin retaining section 104a for retaining the lamp pin at the center, and is supported at the side of the spring support section 101 in the protection frame 103 and opposes the fixed piece 100 along the protection frame 103.
