PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the assembling property and maintainability of a dust collector which removes dust while rotating a screen. SOLUTION: The dust collector collects dust by means of a screen 12 by driving and rotating the screen 12 which comprises a plurality of porous unit frames 30 connected to one another in an endless configuration. The screen 12 comprises the plurality of unit frames 30 arranged between and secured to a pair of roller chains 60. A seal strip member 34 is secured in a cantilevered manner to an end of one of the pair of unit frames 30 which adjoins each other in the direction of rotation. The adjacent unit screens are connected to each other, with the tip of the seal member 34 inserted in an insertion part 42 provided at an end of the other unit frame 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
