PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer which shows an excellent deodorizing effect and effectively deodorizes the foul odor derived from excrement of poultry, livestock, or pets which is difficult to deodorize with a conventional technique, and to provide a fertilizer showing an excellent fertilizer response and a soil improving material for making the properties of soil in an agricultural field suitable by utilizing the deodorized excrement of the poultry and livestock. SOLUTION: Non-burned diatomaceous earth from Noto region or the combination of the diatomaceous earth and Kanuma soil is used as an active ingredient for the deodorizer.
