The litter distribution device for animal stalls has at least one ring-forming tube conveyor, in the tube of which is a driver activated by a circulating cable or chain. The material is fed to an issue station for free release at the distribution points. For the cable or chain there is a drive station and for loading the issue station is a releaser for straw bales and similar, followed by a straw mill for disintegration of the litter. The material is then blown by a blower to an issue station inlet formed as a cyclone. The cable or chain (7) provided with the driver (8) runs with an extent (7a) to a drive wheel (12) in the drive station (2) out of the conveyor tube (4) back to a tension wheel (13) and from there to the other extent (7b) connected to the other conveyor tube end connecting to the drive station.
