<p>An antibody against solubilized GPC3. With the antibody, the solubilized glypican 3 (GPC3) contained in a sample to be assayed can be detected. Through an in vitro examination for detecting the solubilized GPC3 contained in a sample to be assayed, a diagnosis can be made as to whether or not the examinee is suffering from cancer especially of the liver.</p>
