PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer in which a sheet can be prevented from being stained with ink when frameless printing is performed. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 1 has an ink receiving section 4 disposed oppositely to a print head 6 while holding the carrying passage of a sheet 14 in between. The ink receiving section 4 is spaced apart from the supporting part 40b of the sheet 14 and has an ink absorber 41 for absorbing ink 6a being ejected to the outside of an print area on the sheet 14.
