SURVEYING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the recognition of a survey point visually and spatially and improve the work efficiency in surveying by associating survey information obtained from a surveying device with image information on a survey site obtained from a camera easily and efficiently. SOLUTION: An overview image of a survey site including survey points Q1to Q7is taken by a digital camera. Reference points P1to P3are specified on the overview image and positions of the reference points P1to P3are surveyed by a survey device. A position/inclination of the digital camera against the survey device is calculated from the positions of the surveyed reference points P1to P3on the actual space and the positions of the reference points on the overview image. The survey points Q1to Q7are displayed on the overview image from the position data of the survey points. A piling worker holds a target T close to the survey point Q2to be searched for by referring to the overview image. The position of the target T is surveyed and the position is displayed on the overview image. The distance (500) of the target T and the survey point Q2are displayed and the moving direction is displayed with an arrow.
