PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor by automatically managing a column use history or the like. SOLUTION: A chip 12 storing a characteristic column ID is mounted on each column, and a reading part 13 for reading the column ID is attached to a data processing part 14. A column history management DB 182 including data for showing the column use history, a column performance DB 183 including data for showing the column performance, and an analytical DB 184 including analytical data acquired by analysis using the column are stored in relation to column identification information 181 including the column ID in a data preservation part 18 managed by a database management server 17 connected mutually to the data processing part 14. Therefore, at the analysis time, the column use history or the analytical result are automatically registered corresponding to the column ID of the column used in analysis, and can be utilized for search or the like.
