PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recovered sample from being damaged by demarcating the sample based on the fine structure of the sample and the fluorescence distribution in the samples. SOLUTION: A cell analysis/separation apparatus comprises a channel where fluid containing a sample that is introduced into a sample demarcation section by laminar flow is introduced; a pair of channels symmetrically arranged on both sides of the channel where a fluid alone is introduced; a means for introducing an external force to the sample demarcation section only when an observation sample is discharged at the sample demarcation section; a sample collection channel that is arranged in the downstream of the channel for introducing the sample such that fluid containing the sample where only the sample selected from the sample demarcation section is collected in a laminar flow flows out; and a pair of fluid channels that is arranged symmetrically on both sides of the where unneeded sample is discharged.
