PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel load measuring method and its apparatus which are capable of obtaining measured wheel load values with smaller measuring error, and are hard to be influenced by the measuring worker, measuring environment, etc., when a wheel of a vehicle is lifted by a lifting means and the wheel load of the wheel is measured. SOLUTION: A lifting force F is applied to the wheel 22 of the vehicle 2, and while increasing this lifting force F, the amount of an elevated D of the wheel 22 and the lifting force F are recorded to correspond to each other; the function, between the amount of eleveted amount D of the wheel 22 and the lifting force F, is converted into a bilinear function which approximates this; and a lifting force F at a break point of this bilinear function makes a measured wheel load value W of the wheel 22.
