PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing method of a stator stack and a rotor stack of a stepping motor for uniformly eliminating burrs remaining on a toothlet without generating the angular dullness of the toothlet of the stack by a comparatively simple method, and preventing the intrusion of the eliminated burrs and the like into clearances among a plurality of stacked steel sheets composing the stack. SOLUTION: A high-pressure liquid jet injection nozzle 20 is inserted into a central cylindrical cavity 5 of the stator stack 4, and relatively moved along the axis of the central cylindrical cavity 5, and then high-pressure liquid jets 21 injected from an injection port of the high-pressure liquid jet injection nozzle 20 are brought into contact with toothlet 18 faces of the stator stack 4 faced to the central cylindrical cavity 5 to eliminate the burrs remaining on the toothlet 18 face, when the finishing is performed to the stator stack 4 of the stepping motor polished and finished by mechanical processing, to eliminate the burrs such as punching burrs and machining burrs remaining on the toothlet 18 face after machining.
