PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic stopping device of on-vehicle engine capable of suitably reducing the sense of discomfort to the vibration of a vehicle accompanying the automatic stop of an engine. SOLUTION: This device permits the execution of automatic stop of the engine on AND conditions that a prescribed assumption condition after stopping the vehicle is satisfied (step S102: YES), and the deceleration and acceleration Gx of the vehicle satisfies a prescribed condition (S106: YES).
