PURPOSE: A memory module and a memory system are provided to allow for ease of design of memory module, while achieving improved performance of memory system. CONSTITUTION: A memory module(510) comprises a plurality of semiconductor memory devices(520,530,540) mounted on a printed circuit board; and a connection terminal(550) spaced apart from each edge of the memory module and electrically connected to each of the semiconductor memory devices. A memory system comprises a main board and a memory module, wherein the memory module includes one or more memory devices, and a plurality of first connection terminals for transmitting/receiving a predetermined signal to/from at least one of the memory devices. The main board has a plurality of second connection terminals to be connected to the first connection terminals.
