<p>An advancing arrangement for moving a thin sticky band through a cutting unit comprises a pulling unit (14), cord band edge (21) gripping pliers (15) under an upper blade (3) of the cutting unit (4), and a band roll (6). The cutting unit is drawn over the transport band, and a clamping unit is used to hold the band. The band is held down by a holder (10) which consists of a plate with cut-outs, and the pliers consist of a number of clamping sections.</p> |
