The endoprosthesis of the hip joint contains the aligned spherical cup and head with the central opening. These aligned components are placed onto the cylindrical neck made as a whole with the leg of the prosthesis. The curvature radius of the external surface of the head is inferior to that of the internal surface of the cup. The ratio of the curvature radii mentioned above follows the formula Rhead=(0.90??0.97) Rcup, where Rhead is the curvature radius of the external surface of the head and Rcup is the curvature radius of the internal surface of the cup.
