PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fuel burner capable of avoiding the drift of air expelled from an air cylinder. SOLUTION: The burner 10 comprises a combustion board 16 with a combustion chamber 11 formed therein; an evaporation cylinder 39 positioned within the combustion chamber 11; an air cylinder 41 positioned within the evaporation cylinder 39 for guiding air fed into the evaporation cylinder 39; and a fan 14 for supplying air into the air cylinder 41 via an air supply passage 17 oriented in a direction crossing the axis of the air cylinder 41. An airflow passage A formed inside the air cylinder 41 is provided with a flow-straightening member 56 for improving the drift of air on its upstream side toward its downstream side.
