The hair curling tongs have a handle (1) with hot air flow which emerges through a hot air channel (3) guided through a tube (2) which is connected to the handle and has air outlets (5). Protrusions (4) are provided along the tube and can be raised and lowered through a release device (8). The air supplied can be heated or cooled. Independent claim describes hair roller for use on the tongs and have an elongated hollow body (12) with opening at one end and grooves (11) provided along the inner surface to receive the protrusions. The outer surface of the hollow body has dense bristles (13). The roller can be left in the hair after removing the tongs.
