摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with which high transmittance is realized even when a multi-domain type VAN mode is adopted. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 1 is equipped with first and second substrates 7, 15 placed opposite to each other, a pixel electrode 10 disposed on a surface of the first substrate 7 opposite to the second substrate 15, wiring arranged on the surface of the first substrate 7 opposite to the second substrate 15, a common electrode 16 disposed on a surface of the second substrate 15 opposite to the first substrate 7 and a liquid crystal layer 4 disposed between the pixel electrode 10 and the common electrode 16. The pixel electrode 10 is characterized by being provided with a plurality of comb-shaped conductive layers of which the longitudinal directions of the teeth of comb are mutually different and which are electrically connected wherein at least a part of the wiring exists being extended so as to overlap boundaries between respective adjacent pairs of a plurality of the comb-shaped conductive layers.
