PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly weld a balancing piece on painted surface of a propeller shaft in itself and not to require a masking mechanism on a painted tool and simultaneously to enhance productivity as well as durable reliability of the propeller shaft in itself. SOLUTION: The shaft is the propeller shaft 10 and is configured so as to weld the balancing piece 20 on the painted surface of the propeller shaft in itself 11 by a laser. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
