PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion type driving tool for driving a nail and the like by burning combustible gas in a sealed space and moving a screwdriver blade by an increase of combustible gas pressure, and for performing both "single driving" and "continuous driving" having high work efficiency. SOLUTION: Ignition is executed when operating both a first switch 25 to detect a push of a tool body 20 and a second switch 12 manipulated by a workman, and a stirring means in a combustion chamber is operated when one of the first switch 25 and the second switch 12 is operated. Further, a means to delay ignition for a time from fuel supply to sufficient fuel diffusion and a means not to ignite until driving is ready again from the end of driving after ignition are provided, thereby "continuous driving" is certainly performed.
