A patent is sought concerning a process for moulding single-curved or double-curved surfaces 1, for example in the production of vessels such as boats' hulls (or similar hollow bodies) by moulding pieces or plates 2 of easily workable material (for example balsa wood or foam plastic) such that they on the one hand fit the fitments 3 of the vessel and on the other hand, glued together with each other, form the desired curved surface 1 (=the hull mould), which is then lined with suitable material, for example glass-fibre-reinforced polyester plastic.
