PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting machine capable of smoothly attaching and detaching a heavy ditch lid with mobility in attachment and detachment of the ditch lid of a side ditch and quickly making preparation, movement or clearance or the like for that purpose. SOLUTION: The whole lifting machine is used as a lever, a holding lift-up section for holding the side of the ditch lid is provided on an action point, it comprises a handle section as an important point and a caster attached supporting section as a fulcrum, the lift-up section is attached to one end of a holding link of a holding plate for holding the ditch lid, a pair of right and left links are pivoted on a connecting link, the other end of the holding link is locked with a hang arm, and the hang arm is pivoted on a frame in a rotatable and tiltable manner to make it as the lift-up section.
