METHOD AND MEMBER FOR REPRODUCING ARTICULAR CARTILAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reproducing an articular cartilage which can reproduce the articular cartilage having its original thickness at an early stage in the state of being integrated and connected satisfactorily with an existing articular cartilage surrounding it adjacently in a circumstance close to nature, and to provide a member for reproduction of the articular cartilage which can be reproduced.

SOLUTION: The articular cartilage is reproduced by burying the member for reproducing the articular cartilage consisting of a porous member made of hydroxyapatite in which pores are formed by agitating and foaming into a position deeper than the lower surface of the articular cartilage layer of an articular surface.
