PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform the registered subject of a password to easily specify the password by the subject, and to specify it with difficulty by the other person, when the password registered preliminarily is notified to the registered subject. SOLUTION: A password controller 200 stores the password, a dummy password, and positional information of a portion of an image embedded with them. When a password notification request is received from the user, the password and the dummy password are embedded in the image using stored password registration information, the image is transmitted to a client device 220, the client device 220 displays the received image, and the password or the dummy password embedded in the portion of the image is displayed when the user assigns the portion of the image.
