PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress generation of peeling trace on an adhesive film caused by a stress actuating from a protective sheet to the adhesive film when the protective sheet is peeled off from the adhesive film. SOLUTION: The protective sheet 32 is peeled from the adhesive film 26 by an adsorptive force (peeling force) from a roller face 47, so that a radius of curvature near the peeling point PE<SB>1</SB>of the protective sheet 32 is held larger than the radius of curvature (4.0 mm) of the roller face 47. As a result, a tensile stress and a compressive stress actuating from near the peeling point PE<SB>1</SB>of the protective sheet 32 to the adhesive film 26 is sufficiently reduced, therefore, a strain quantity is maintained at a prescribed value or below in peeling the protective sheet 32 from the adhesive film 26, sufficiently reducing a plastic deformation remaining on the surface of the adhesive film 26 after the protective sheet 32 is peeled off.
