The collector (1) has a parabolic reflector (4) in a frame (3), to focus sunlight on a cooking appliance (5). The frame has two supports (70) on the sides of the reflector, to hold the pivot shaft (6). The supports are fastened to a base (71), which defines a foot print. This has at least two points (72) defined by wheels (73), with axle (74) located pref. at right angles to the reflector shaft. Holders for cooking utensils are fastened to one of the supports. The connections between all components are made via self-locking ring bolts.
