PURPOSE: A vehicle driving and braking system using an electric motor is provided to recover the regenerative energy by performing a regenerative braking operation. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle driving and braking system using an electric motor includes an electric motor(20), a driving circuit(40), and a regenerative braking circuit(41). The electric motor(20) is installed at a wheel installation part of a vehicle. The electric motor is coupled to wheels of the vehicle. The driving circuit(40) is connected to the electric motor in order to drive the vehicle. The regenerative braking circuit(41) is connected to the electric motor(20) in order to perform a regenerating operation and a braking operation. A charging circuit is connected to the regenerative braking circuit(41) in order to charge a storage battery.
