<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter with which uneven film thickness is caused in a correcting process. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the color filter includes a defect detecting process of detecting a defect that the color filter has, a defect removing process of irradiating a region where the defect detected by the defect detecting means is present with laser light to remove the defect together with a color filter film, a wettability improving process of improving the wettability of the defect removed place where the color filter film is removed by the detect removing process, and a correcting process of correcting the defect removed part by coating the defect removed part of the color filter film whose wettability is improved with the wettability improving process with a composition for the color filter film and hardening the composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
