Common rail fuel injection system for IC engines has injection pipe containing filter and directly connected to injection valve holder

The system has an injection valve in a valve holder, and supplied with fuel via injection pipe and bar filter. The pipe (1) is directly connected to the valve holder (14). The filter (2) is fitted into the injection pipe, in an end section (13) in front of a pipe head (4) facing the valve holder. The end section passes through an aperture in a tension screw (5), and is pressed against a pressure connection of the valve holder, by the screw and a support washer (6). The injection pipe connects an injection valve to the pressure accumulator of a common-rail-injection system.
