<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head in which adverse effect of liquid, e.g. ink, on a circuit board can be prevented by preventing ink from being stored in a space on the inside of a head cover, and to provide a liquid ejector employing it. <P>SOLUTION: The head cover 39 of a recording head 30 has an opening 71 for exposing the nozzle face of a liquid ejection nozzle in a channel unit, a frame part 72 provided around the opening to support the circumferential edge part of the channel unit against the mounting face, protective wall parts 73, 74, 75 and 76 standing integrally from the frame part to cover the side face at the forward end part of a head case, and supporting parts 77, 78 and 79 formed integrally with the protective wall parts and being secured to the head case extending in the circumferential direction while being bent from the protective wall parts wherein cuts 86, 86, 86 and 11, 11, 11 are made in the vicinity of boundary of the frame part 72 and the protective wall parts 75 and 76. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
