PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device capable of surely storing history information even if a central processing unit is destroyed, and to provide its control method and its control program. SOLUTION: THE central processing unit 1a includes a storage part 2, an external storage device 3, a transmission reception part 4, an information processing part 5, an information collecting part 6, and an information transmission part 7. Human body detecting terminal equipment 11 includes an information processing part 12, an information transmission part 13, an information reception part 14, and a human body detection part 16. When the human body detection part 16 of the human body detecting terminal equipment 11 detects an intruder, it gives detection information for indicating occurrence of abnormal condition to the information processing part 12. The information processing part 12 transmits the detection information and an address code to the CPU 1a from the information transmission part 13. When the information collecting part 6 of the CPU 1a receives the detection information and the address code from the human detection terminal equipment 11, the information processing part 5 stores the detection information and the address code in the external storage device 3 as the history information.
