PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip stopper for a wheel having a simple structure, applicable not only to a small-size vehicle but also to a large-size vehicle, having a good attaching/detaching workability to a wheel, consuming no material having economical/environmental problems, and allowing non-slip safe travel even in travel on a slippery icy/frozen road, in braking, and in acceleration including a starting time. SOLUTION: This slip stopper for a wheel is provided with two plate materials, a chain 12 formed with an approximately same size as a tire width of a vehicle and fixed between the two plate materials, a fastening member 15 having an engagement part 14 at the tip of one end and fixed to one 11a of the plate materials at the other end, and a locking part 16 arranged in the other 11b of the plate materials. The engagement part 14 is passed through a through hole in the wheel to be attached to the locking part 16 to be wound and fixed in the axial direction in a part of the tire outer circumference part.
