Electronically conducting reforming catalyst contains particles of a water-adsorbing electronically conducting substrate material and particles of a catalyst material arranged on the substrate material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Process for the production of an electronically conducting reforming catalyst comprising producing a slip or paste made from the substrate material supporting the catalyst material, molding into a layer and sintering; and (2) Fuel cell containing the reforming catalyst.
