An aqueous or solid formulation (A) for nutrition and/or strengthening of plants contains creatine component(s) (I) selected from creatine, creatine monohydrate, (in)organic acid salts of creatine and creatinine, cyanamide component(s) (II) selected from cyanamide, alkali(ne earth) metal salts of cyanamide and dicyandiamide and optionally other components (III) selected from e.g. active agents.
