SALE SYSTEM OF MEDICAL ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of safely selling medical articles through an IC card and the Internet.

SOLUTION: A patient accesses a reservation database 6 of a medical institution from a terminal 12 and receives a medical reservation. A non-contact IC card reader 8 reads out the ID of an IC card 10 and transmits the read ID to a terminal 2 of the medical institution together with personal identification data such as a password through the Internet. The terminal 2 of the medical institution retrieves an electronic medical chart 4, prepares a prescription and returns the prescription to which electronic signature is attached to the patient's terminal 12. The patient transmits the received prescription to which the electronic signature is attached to a seller's terminal 14 through the Internet and the seller's terminal 14 checks the electronic signature and sells medical articles.
