<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an inseparable joint in which oxide dispersed (ODS) metallic materials are joined by welding, particularly, a method for producing an inseparable joint in which component members consisting of oxide dispersed (ODS) metallic materials are joined. <P>SOLUTION: Component members 3.3 and 4.3 to mutually be joined are arranged so as to be overlapped up and down to make an overlapped region. In the joined region, heating is performed to a temperature less than the melting temperature thereof, and welding is performed by a roller seam welding method to at least partially form a diffusion joint 25.3. In a particularly preferable embodiment, noble metal foil is arranged between the component members to mutually be joined in the overlapped region. In the following step, the diffusion joint 25.3 is heated to a temperature lower than the melting temperature of the component members 3.3 and 4.3, and is mechanically recompressed by hammer forging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
