PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable oscillation independent of fluctuation in power supply voltage. SOLUTION: A first capacitor 4 and a first varicap 6 are connected in series between an input end of an oscillation amplifier 1 and a ground. A second capacitor 5 and a second varicap 7 are connected between an output end of the oscillation amplifier 1 and the ground. Both the connection point between the first capacitor 4 and a first varicap 6, and the connection point between the second capacitor 5 and the second varicap 7, are connected to the output end of a variable voltage generation circuit 100. Related to the variable voltage generation circuit 100, the output voltage increases as the power supply voltage decreases, to reduce capacity of the first and second varicaps 6 and 7. Thus, the decrease in negative resistance of the circuit is compensated for an assured stable oscillation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
