PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding gun having a removable tip. SOLUTION: The tip of the welding gun 28 is adapted to direct gas from the gun 28. The tip can be formed in a conical shape. The tip can be removed without a tool. The tip is also disposed to be fixed to and/or removed from the gun 28 in a linear movement. In order to fix the tip member of a nozzle to a nozzle body, a method for assembling the welding gun to connect the tip member of the nozzle to the nozzle body is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
