<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that selection of a key to be pressed among plural keys on a keyboard at a remote control unit regarding a remote control system in which a device to be controlled is operated by remote control of a control unit. <P>SOLUTION: The visual key selection with colors can be realized by coloring a valid key on the keyboard 9 with the same color as that of a menu screen at a display unit 3.
