<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a profit predicting device for predicting a profit obtained in accordance with the selling of a product capable of performing profit prediction matched with situations in which a user is in. <P>SOLUTION: A parameter registering means 11 displays a parameter registration screen preliminarily prepared at the device side including the list of parameters(the current number of customers or the like) to be used for performing profit prediction at a display part 4. A user selects a parameter to be used for profit prediction from the list of parameters, and inputs the parameter value of the selected parameter. A parameter/calculation formula corresponding part 22 registers a calculation formula to be used for profit prediction each time the parameters are combined, and a calculation formula input means 12 selects the calculation formula corresponding to the combination of the parameters selected by using the parameter registration screen by the user from the parameter/calculation formula corresponding part 22.
