PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic irradiation apparatus in which secure alignment is performed and safe and secure actions of medical treatment, or the like, are realized. SOLUTION: Even when an observation cross section or a focal position is changed, a positional relationship between a target part and a focal point is always user-friendly displayed . When a position of a focusing area marker 25 is moved in a left picture indication 22 and the focal position is changed, for example, while following up the change, a horizontal cross section 33 through the position of the moved focal point is displayed in a right picture display part 35. Namely, when the focusing area marker 25 is moved, while following up the movement, a cross section indication 31 is moved in the direction of an arrow 34 such that a cross section of the right picture display part 35 always passes through the position of the focal point. Besides, a probe 3 is inclined without changing a positional relationship among a vibrator, a medium and a surface of the body, and its inclination center is provided near a detection plane thereof.
