PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correct the quantity of light in a main scanning direction which is particularly difficult in a wide angle lens. SOLUTION: In this image forming lens having a plurality of lenses and a lens-barrel holding the lenses, a light quantity correcting means for correcting a light quantity distribution in a main scanning direction of the image forming lens is incorporated inside the lens-barrel.
